Our books provide an avenue for children and parents to reconnect by reading together in what we hope will be entertaining and educational for parents and child alike.
Bumbershoot Book Solutions was developed with the goal of challenging our children to learn, grow, and reason through storytelling, humor, art, and poetry. 
In the March 2022 edition of Texas Monthly, the iconic HEB president, Scott McClelland stated that his company has had to shift the reading level of its training manual from eighth grade to fifth-grade level. 
The Rosebud series provides a fanciful farm where animals learn to navigate the perils and challenges that every child faces in a positive and thoughtful manner.
The Boy King teaches children the strengths of Love, Peace and, Compassion to rebuke the trappings of power, violence, and materialism which encroach into the lives of our children on a daily basis.
The Animal Primer series attempts to expand the knowledge of nature and its vocabulary using the vehicles of poetry and art.

Our Purpose

Our goal at Bumbershoot is too, in a small way, push back against this atrophy in our children's reading skills, vocabulary, and reasoning. We do this through several avenues.
