Bumbershoot Books Solutions began as a collaboration of potential in 2018 with the first book Rosebud Meets a Giant. Of course, the name, Bumbershoot Books Solutions, wasn't even a thought, but quickly Jim and Jess realized that creating books was as fun as reading them, and soon other children's books followed. As both of the original collaborators developed their respective crafts, many more ideas flowed and the idea of helping others follow their dream of writing, illustrating, and publishing was born. Do you know what a Bumbershoot is? It is an umbrella. Why did we choose that for our name? Because it's silly and silly is a big part of the fun of childhood. Besides, the handles make a J shapes. From the beginning, Jim and Jess hoped for an opportunity to use their love of literature, writing, and art to make the lives of children better. The books that have developed from that desire include character trait books, educational books, and now the Garrison and Friends series. We hope you enjoy them all!
